Adrick was born and raised in Spartan, GA, where he still lives with his wife and son. He earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from The Fort Valley State University, his MBA from Georgia College, and his master's of public administration from Wesleyan College. He is a member of Pi Mu Nu chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
