Public Safety

During her 2020 campaign, said, “If elected District Attorney of the Ogeechee Circuit, I will continue to help make the communities of the circuit safe and to provide justice to the victims of crimes. Our office will continue to have a positive, collaborative relationship with the law enforcement agencies in our circuit to ensure that violent criminals are aggressively prosecuted to the fullest extent. Additionally, I will continue the work our office has done over the years in helping grow our Circuit’s Accountability Courts, which include a Drug Court and Mental Health Court. Those courts assist those struggling with drug and mental health problems in a way that holds them accountable for their actions, but also avoids lengthy jail stays and saves the community money. I will strive to have an office that is both effective and efficient.”
