Fox 5, Former Fulton County prosecutor says he will challenge DA Fani Willis

Christian grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has a bachelor's degree in health services administration from Ohio University, a master's degree in healthcare management from Troy University, and a law degree from Cooney Law School. Christian is married to his wife, Keyonda. They have four children together.

Christian is a lawyer and author. He has been working as a private practice attorney since 2020. He was previously chief of staff of Atlanta City Council District 5, City of Atlanta senior assistant solicitor, and Fulton County assistant district attorney.

Christian Wise Smith ran for Fulton County District attorney general in 2020 and attorney general in 2022, but did not win either race.

- A District Attorney is the person who represents the government in the prosecution of all felony criminal cases and the misdemeanors connected to felonies.
