Willis is the main prosecution attorney in the Georgia election interference case against Former President Donald Trump. She leads the prosecution, and claims that Trump and his associates are guilty of a "criminal racketeering enterprise to overturn Georgia's presidential election result".
Willis was accused by Former President Trump's defense team of a romantic relationship with a main member of the prosecution. The defense attempted to disqualify her from the case but was unsuccessful. The lawyer who she was accused of having romantic relations with has resigned from the case.
Spoke publicly about the Trump's defense team's efforts to disqualify her, and believes that they are racially motivated.
