Dean Bevacqua was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, and earned a degree in advertising from St. Clair Community College. He and his wife Melissa have lived in Michigan for more than thirty years and have two daughters. They have lived in Pontiac’s District 2 for the past four years.

Professional background

Dean is the owner of American Newspaper Representatives, a Pontiac-based advertising and media company. He previously worked as national sales manager for the same company.

Political background

Dean previously served on the Rochester City Council, including one year as mayor pro-tem. Since moving to Pontiac, he has been appointed chairman of the Pontiac Zoning Board of Appeals and board member of the Pontiac Housing Commission. His campaign for Pontiac City Council District 2 is his first run for elected office in Pontiac.
