Milanna Jones has lived in Pontiac since 2017. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration from Purdue University Global. She has served on the board of directors for the Midwest Dressage Association and as a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, where she mentored youth. She is a mother of two girls.

Professional background

Milanna is a graduate student research assistant and graduate student ambassador at the University of Michigan-Flint. She previously worked as an assistant summer camp counselor and also ran a small business for five years, focusing on marketing, planning, management, and customer service.

Milanna is currently the Pontiac City Council Representative for District 2. She was appointed in August 2024.
