Frank Gammon is originally from Nashville. He studied at the US Army Command and General Staff College. He lives in Huntersville.

Frank is retired Army JROTC Instructor for North Carolina high schools. He was also infantry and a topographic engineer in the US Army.

Frank's campaign for Huntersville Town Commissioner is his first run for public office. He has nearly eight years of experience in town government, having served on the Greenway & Bikeway Commission and currently serving as Vice-Chair on the Planning Board and on the Ordinance Advisory Board.
