Nathan has a bachelor's degree in political science from Grinnell College and a master's degree in public administration from American University. He lives with his wife and daughter in District 1 in Ormewood Park. For the last three years, he served as president of South Atlantans for Neighborhood Development (SAND), pushing for public transport improvements, increased affordable housing, safer streets, more green space and wider public engagement.

Professional background

Nathan has worked for the federal and state government for over ten years, including more than six years as a performance auditor for the Georgia Department of Audits and Accounts. As an auditor, he focused on increasing the effectiveness, accountability and transparency of government operations.

Political background

Nathan Clubb's campaign for city council is his first entry into politics.

CAMPAIGN FINANCE

Public Services

Said, "we must preserve existing green space and expand parks to build a resilient, livable city ... We need to connect with nature, build trails and protect our tree canopy."

Plans to work with the Department of Parks and Recreation to increase the percentage of District 1 residents who live within ten minutes of a park.

Wants to prevent displacement before public investment, including land banking around proposed public improvements such as new parks.

Said, "I will fight for an equity-driven budget, built to reduce racial disparities and promote economic development that creates upward mobility by investing in workforce development and seeking good jobs for those who need it most."
