Andrew Ashiofu earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Igbinedion University. He is an LGBTQIA+ immigrant. Andrew currently lives in Seattle.

Andrew Ashiofu is currently a clinical program manager at HealthPoint (CHC), a position he has held since 2023. He is also the co-chair of the Seattle LGBTQ+ Commission and the chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for the King County Democrats. He was previously a flight attendant for Delta Air Lines from 2015 to 2022.
